Here is a site with updated list of airlines flying or not flying:
https://www.passportcard.co.il/article/airlines-at-war/
in Hebrew

If it says, for example:
לא (כל הטיסות מבוטלות עד ל05.09)

It means as of now they are not flying until Dec. 5, not including, meaning they are set to restart on Dec 5.

Many airlines keep on pushing off the restart date.

Still, flights usually run both ways (anyone want to write this in, fine, but I'm done). Have a Israel trip booked for the summer, but with everything going on I want a good Travel insurance that would cover if anything escalates, or if we need to evacuate and everyone cancels flights like after sukkos.
Which insurance worked the best after sukkos?
I havent heard of Insurance covering "war"- it could be that its out there- but it could be an issue for travel, health and car insurance.

You can barely get coverage now, travel guard said they cover travel to Israel, but won't cover anything to do with the war.

Do we expect an announcement from United/Delta about flights resuming, or the suspension announcement already means resumption at the end of it?

BTW United actually dropped prices for June flights

I think most are skeptical that it will happen till it does.

The reason that United and Delta aren't flying isn't because the route isn't profitable enough hence EL AL's earnings report isn't going to change much

Here are some possible reasons.
inability to insure aircraft (United was flying as well as most European airlines while Delta wasn't...),
crew refusing to overnight in a designated war zone (I'm sure for extra pay they can find crew),
missile attacks from Gaza (same as above),
and low customer demand. (proven false)

How sure are you about the crew?

Regarding UA
The union told their members to say that (let's me honest they don't care about the members they just want to pressure corporate)

being that these reasons are pretty weak I'll add some more possibilities

They don't want to be party to the genocide in Gaza
Politics/ BDS
Afraid of the woke leftist mobs invading the universities and not wanting to become their target
A hint of plain old antisemitism?

I have to think there's a good chance UA actually starts flying this week, since they haven't canceled yet.

Are UA and DL both waiting for each other to be the first to confirm either way?
