Crazy that he’s even on the ballot then. It’s like voting to take your vote out of the equation. Maybe a nice way to signal you want neither candidate to be president, though your vote has no say in that matter.

If he wins enough votes in the Electoral College to prevent either candidate from getting 270, it goes to Congress and they decide. Still a major stretch for him to expect the House to choose him, but it is technically possible.

I saw a clip of Trump asking by a rally, shortly before the debate: "Should I be a tough guy, or be a nice guy, and let him talk"... I guess he decided on the latter.

As someone that didn’t watch any part of the debate but has seen many clips of Biden “showing his age” over the recent years. What happened by the debate that totally changed everything?
Was he really much worse by the debate, than what we’ve all seen?
Was it that the MSM always avoided covering it and now there was nothing they could do?
Or did a memo go out from the higher ups that Biden’s gotta go, so now they’re all talking about it?

Who has the most to lose if Biden wouldn’t have run for a second term?
Most definitely DR Jill, with his cabinet and administration a very close second. As he is incapable of running a country so they are doing it. They were all hoping that Joe would Coast to a second term as he had the benefit of being and incumbent and has the media on his side and they’d be able to run the country for another 4 years.
Looks like the debate ruined all that, and his backers are starting to jump ship. Since Dr Jill has the most to lose here, she’ll push her hardest for him to stay.
