You're refering to all cards in the charge family (gold, plat) but not SPG, Delta. Right?

i closed the card before getting the bonus over 2 yrs ago.  Surprisingly I did get few thousand points on both personal & biz for the purchases but not the bonus cos I think I didn't finish spend req in first month. I was hit with FR just couple of weeks after getting the cards and called them to close them.

Am I eligible for bonus with new SPG card?

Is the once per life time bonus effective only after the change was made? if yes than I don't have to worry should I go for this card

If we identify you as currently having an American Express® Card account, you may not be eligible for this welcome bonus offer. This offer is also not available to applicants who have or have had this product.
It doesn't say not available to those who have gotten the bonus.
That being said it's nothing definite, but if you don't get it then you would not have a leg to stand on...

He asked if they ever offer 1 to 1 transfer. Even a 50% promo is still 2 to 1

Husband and wife both signed up for personal SPG cc. Both awarded 25k plus 2 stays, 5 nights. When they combine accounts, will the award nights combine?

Will starwood let me "borrow" points temporarily? I want to book a hotel, but i don't have enough points and i will have the necessary points posting to my account, when my statement comes in a few weeks?

Back in Oct. I called amex to release my points before the statement hit for a booking and they wouldn't budge. It' may be worth  calling amex though and asking

If during any calendar year, Eligible Purchases on your Card account are $30,000 or more, you (the Basic Card Member) will be enrolled for at least twelve months in the Gold Preferred level of the Starwood Preferred Guest® loyalty program (unless you are already enrolled in an equivalent or higher level). Starwood associates excluded. Please allow 12-16 weeks after your Eligible Purchases equal or exceed such amount for the applicable year for enrollment to become effective. Eligible Purchases means purchases for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, balance transfers, cash advances, purchases of travelers checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, or purchases of other cash equivalents. Additional terms and restrictions apply.

does that include loading the REDcard?
