RULES OF THE GAME:

2) Anyone can call a roll call, just make a reply with "Roll Call". The roll call must be readable to the naked eye.
3) No more than one roll call every thirty minutes.
4) You have 30 minutes to respond to the roll call to stay active.
5) To respond to a roll call just post a reply with "Here" or "y y y"

I'll actually answer your question.
There is nothing wrong with it. Some people find themselves using it sooner, some find themselves using it later.

Being that it is a very personal topic you wont see many people argue pro their position & thoughts on their personal lives. Most people will not discuss this in a public forum..
Those who do are usually the machmirim & kinoim who are open with their frumkeit & have nothing to lose so to speak.

Everyone knows children are a beautiful thing & our future but once some people have a boy & a girl the drive & push to have more children IMO diminishes. This is an observation vs btdt.

Its easy to knock & try to show youre more frum than someone else when your sitting behind a computer screen but when it comes TOT everyone knows exactly what they need to do & when its an appropriate time & when not.

You were old enough to get married, I hope youre adult enough to make adult decisions.
Fair enough.
Love me or hate me. I still love you.

Do you know that according to standard operating procedure of the internet, you're required to provide a source to what you're saying.
I am the source. You heard it from me who heard it from a friend whose father it happened to.

Regarding issue A -

Why are women allowed to breastfeed?

And if you say it is mutar to push it off, why is it not mutar to take BC for just a year or two at a time for no reason at all?

According to the  birkay yosef l'erev is not a mitzva every day. He explains your favorite rambam this way.

How long of a break is unclear.

Re the nursing. Are you serious? Nursing is for the good of the baby. It is even ossur to Mary a nursing woman because she CV may get pregnant and stop nursing.

There are sources to do just that mentioned n the article from R Schachter and other places. R Moshe in tshuvos argues vehemently.

I think someone that doesnt use language that is used in a state of anger or happiness/giddyness etc shows self control.. Youre boss on what leaves your mouth.. Once it leaves its subject to analysis :)

That's not a "heter". Why would it even be ossur? There no need or mitzvah to have more than one baby at a time. That would be unnatural.

Rav Schachter, on page 20 in the above quoted article, quotes a birkei yosef that it's mutar to postpone laerev all teinach yadecha
The question was: Why even speak to a Rav after a boy and a girl?

Because you're pushing off having children for 2 years.
According to your line of reasoning, maybe there should be a chiyuv to do IVF and have octuplets?
The answer to both questions may be, that the chiyuv is not to go beyond the natural.

@CBC is making a great point.
@ilherman, where's the Rav Moshe? And are you sure he's addressing issue A? It really wouldn't make any sense.
What is the great point?  No one is talking here about point B which is avoided even as per you by taking pills.

And you say that it wouldnt make sense what R Moshe said. How many times have you finished Daled Chelkie Shulchan Aruch?

I will explain the simple answer. There is a Mitzvah, so you're gonna say that whoever is pregnant is currently being Oiver on that Mitzvah? And whoever can't have kids is Oiver on that Mitzvah. If you can not produce kids now for whatever reason then you are not oiver. Now lets say if someone is pushing off the Mikvah with two days so his wife can't get pregnant that is as per some called Oiver on the Mitzvah. Taking pills makes you like someone who can't have kinds. Now of course Hashkafah wise there is a huge difference between someone who can not have kids and someone who takes pills. But Mesh wants to know why mix Halachah and Hashkafah. I will look for the Igrus Moshe tomorrow. And please don't reply by what your Das Bal Habayis says. If you have a Halachdig argument you're more than welcome.
You can say what you think when you think what you say.

Chas Veshalom. I was questioning your claim that Rav Moshe said that.
I wouldn't have the audacity to talk like that about Rav Moshe.

As a feminist, I'm still waiting for a male BC pill to be developed. Eliminates all problems!
It's called having a vasectomy.
