That has been said many times over, and this rally has probably been one of the most hated ones. I don't know where things will go. Always a good idea to look at any part of your portfolio and ask yourself if there's value there, if the reason you invested is still valid.

This guy is someone to listen to carefully.

I've had a substantial part of my portfolio in cash throughout this rally.

I did though do quite well recently on some individual stocks that I happened to buy at a bargain price. Though as pointed above, after I sold half my position in those, they shot up even more.

Either way this rally will end soon with a nice a correction which I am waiting for.

That's a relative term.

Also, always be careful trying to catch a falling knife.

That being said, if you see solid individual stocks that fall along with the market, where they reach ridiculously low valuations, it might be time to back up the truck on those specific ones.

Thoughts about investing in India?

I've been long India infrastructure for a while through INXX. There are lots of reforms there, along with many challenges, but it's the second most populous nation in the world, and population is growing (unlike China), while investment has been lagging (compared to China). Any specific stock or sector ideas (investable via ETFs or otherwise)?

No one can capture the exact tops or bottoms, that is why selling half after a good run is a good idea.I think you did the right thing. Every day there are new opportunities , I chose the best signals I get and place a few trades. I like Forex and futures more than stocks.

Impossible to catch exact tops and bottoms no matter how good a trader is, here are some quotes by one of the best traders in history.
