Pistachio was pretty good at Queens Pita, but very different. Sesame's looks like more of a custard type filling, while QP's was more of a cream type filling. I did really like the rosamary chocolate from Sesame though.

They are a sub-brand of KMR, and they do these types of sales from time to time, they also do cheesecakes shavuos time.
Apparently their in house baked goods have quite a name.

It was the last day, so I splurged and bought the new milchig donuts from Sanhedria Bakery. (I got them so I would never be tempted to buy them in the future.)
The chocolate donuts, which were the only ones out, had a chocolate covering on top with either chocolate sprinkles or chocolate lentils (adashim), and a small amount of filling. The chocolate tasted suspiciously like PesekZman cream - in fact, exactly like it. (They sell PesekZman cream here - don't know if you fellows have it also.) The donut itself was soft and delicious, not too oily and a decent size. So now you know in advance if you would like it. I won't be buying it again... even though I enjoyed it.

In Lakewood Bagel nosh is cheap but kind of a cheap product; but not that kind of rich Chanukah doughnut we were looking for. Gelbsteins was pretty decent for most flavors. Gourmet seems to always be a little lest soft and fresh by the time it gets to the shelf. Sesame was decent for the occasional doughnut but pricey and somewhat heavy. Most of the specialty ones we had from around town were nice to look at but just that. The ones that were consistently fresh and everyone likes to pound? The 3 pack for $4.49 at Bingo (sterns). Go figure.
