Don't see a thread for other states.
So..
Got a ticket for parking in a driveway, while blocking the sidewalk.
Someone called because I was blocking the sidewalk.
When they came they saw the car wasn't registered (which was true, seems the owner forgot to re-register it because it was a lease and he planned to give it back.)
Officer was going to tow the car. But I came in time to have him cancel the tow-truck. And in return he asked me for my license so he can give me a parking ticket for blocking the sidewalk.
It's only $55 so I would technically just pay it and move on. But when I went to pay it the info stated online was entirely different than what the ticket had when he manually wrote out the ticket. (The manual paper ticket had all the correct info, so honestly not sure for the discrepancy for the ticket online?)
For example;
-my name was misspelled
-make of the vehicle was wrong. (Was a Hyundai not a Harl)
-parking offense. Was supposed to be what was written on the paper ticket 39:4-138F
Which is(I'll post a picture, but instead it shows online 39:4-138G which states "no parking area established by state highway. While my ticket was issued on Forest Ave in Lakewood NJ.)
I see two options on the bottom, efile and plea online. Which would I do? Or just pay the $55?
