Agreed, They have upped their game big time. Don't know about the buffet, but the regular menu has improved.

Upped their prices too

I didn't notice that. I'm pretty sure that their lunch specials actually dropped in price.

Speaking of restaurants, I highly recommend the all-you-can-eat Wok Tov deal on Monday nights. If you order to go, they give you a very large container for the food and sides, and smaller container for sushi, and then a pint container for soup. All for $18.99. I have been known to reverse the plates (which is permissible), and essentially stuff 6 rolls of sushi into the large container, plus a generous serving of meat into the smaller container.

PS: I have no connection to Wok Tov other than liking greasy Chinese food.
I was there Monday and was unimpressed. The Chinese is very limited. The sesame chicken was decent but ran out quickly and it takes time to be refilled. They had fried and white rice. Chicken w garlic sauce but the chicken looked strange. Beef w garlic sauce and the beef was raw. The egg rolls were good but they ran out of that quickly too. The sushi was good for those who like fish but I don’t eat fish.

reach out to the owner and tell him. I was there Monday as well and told him after that they were not replenishing quickly. He apologized and thanked me for the feedback.

I happen to eat my $19 worth of Sushi so I was ok :)

I agree that they could be a little faster in refilling the food once it runs out. It seems like they only start making the new batch when the food runs out, but they should always a batch ready to go. I didn't taste the beef w. garlic cause, but maybe it was raw because they were rushing it out. Still, for $18.95 including sushi and soup, it's the best deal on Central I think.

And as to the lower pricing, I checked it out last time I was there, and only the lunch specials for students went down in price (to $8!), I think that the regular lunch specials stayed the same. My bad.

PS: I was also there on Monday (looks like we could have had a DO!) and kept filling up my to-go plate whenever fresh chicken came out, so I may be a little bit responsible for all the delays... :P

They refill the Buffet with single portions. The soup was not good at all. The sushi was good but only if you eat fish

I believe there is on in the white shul. You can pm me for a number to be added to the plag WhatsApp group
Jury Duty: Nothing to do there but chill and write a TR. Kinda like the beach but missing the view and ocean breeze.
