I was on the line with them this morning but they’re currently closed again. This is absurd.
I usually have to WhatsApp them first thing in the US morning, just to get in the queue for a response a few days later, hopefully when I’m awake.

You can cancel on Elal’s website and within a few days you’ll get a voucher for the full amount that can be used for anyone.

Only for flights until April 30. Or you'll have the option to buy "EL AL protect" for around $30 to be able to get a voucher

DP: I was able to actually get into the form and put my info in, and received my voucher (The site went online at say 4PM or 8PM and was "sold out" by 4:02 or 8:02)

Booked a business fare using amex plat, cancelled on LY site, got my voucher.
On day of booked flight got an email from amex saying flight is cancelled and will be refunded by LY to card.
This is the way it works? I keep the voucher and assume they will not refund, correct?

I'd rather not out myself destination wise
But I think the actual ticket would cost around 200 and it cost me 50 for airport taxes total.

There is no elal lounge they send to the Virgin Atlantic clubhouse

J is allowed 1 guest who must be on the same flight
