Voucher arrived to me about 6 days later.

Once you use a voucher or part of it, can you still cancel the flight you booked, and it is still good for anyone, or only the person it was used for?

After  cancelling a protected ticket, it's good for a year from purchase. That's what I believe this means-

After using the right to cancel according to EL AL Protect, the credit voucher will be valid Until December 31st, 2024, or as stated on the voucher, whichever is later in time, for flights departing up to a year after the time of purchase.


This is different than the voucher bought for flights up to april 30, Dan says that's good till end of 2025.

I booked an El Al ticket through Amex travel, wanted to cancel for voucher and couldn't because it's a lite fare. Just psa for others. (Not a huge loss for me BH as I was planning on using half of the round trip anyway and wasn't a huge difference in price but still pretty annoying)
