Agent told me the only thing it's needed for is when walking over the border from mexico. You don't need it for a flight into the USA.

Afaik , You don't need the card. Just add the number to your ticket.
I have only used the TSA pre so far. And I added the number to the booking and it showed up on my boarding pass.

I am flying in 2 weeks Lufthansa and I called them to add my known traveler number to the booking. He said he added it. But Lufthansa does not participate on that program. Any taughts ?

For me it took about 3 minutes.
"Asad" was the officer to verify if a chasidish man is a threat to the USA.

All he asked was if i was ever arrested.
And why I came late to the appointment.

They take your picture and finger prints and that's it

that's ironic for "Asad" to ask you that. Born in USA? We are super safe.
I drove to CLE to save a 2 month wait for another airport appointment.
Also took 4-5 min, just fingerprinting and asking why I wanted it. (I travel int'l and don't like the radiation scanners or pat-downs). Also saves time vs. regular line.

First experience of this but, I was going from its to mia and I needed my card (yes I put the travelers number in my ticket....) Though I never needed it before and doubt ill need it ever again....

You do not need the card except when traveling via the Nexus lanes entering the US. It is stated so multiple times.

It depends where you live. Pple always cancel. You need to constantly check
