The programs could be failures but as of now he gets credit. If they fail or get bungled, then he gets the blame.
That is why we need goalposts, so everything isn't twisted.
I'm not politicizing anything. I like the initiatives and kudos to Biden for that. My distrust in government agencies has nothing to do with who is in power, and he's (IMHO) overpromising and bound to underperform by typing it to trust in government.
Yes, there's an element of distrust in government that has to do with the state of party politics in 2021 (I personally blame both sides for this, Obama and Trump both contributed to this significantly), but I'm not referring to that. Only to the fact that Biden is staking his initiatives on something bigger, which I think is a mistake.
