Agreed. As well the ones who feel the need to post that it was mere coincidence. A defense-mechanism, no doubt.
Reminds me of a story that happened to a guy in yeshiva. He was in a cab, and the (non-religious) cab driver told him a story. He was in the army, and his unit was staked out in the forest. One of the guys broke off from the group and shortly afterwards they heard him give a yell. They ran over to him and there was a snake coiling around his body. One of the guys in the unit told him to say shema, and when he finished the snake dropped off and went away.
"Amazing story, no?"
"Yes, so why aren't you frum?"
"Rabbi I think you misunderstood. The snake was around my friend, not around me"
