2-3 weeks to hospital system collapse. It's already too late to do anything about it.
Expecting the third dose to seriously start kicking in.
According to the graph @PlatinumGuy is posting about 4/5ths of hospitalizations are from non vaccinated individuals. So a third dose may have little affect on the numbers ( I hope this is wrong)
No. That's normalized to population. Not the absolute numbers.
Quotes in a signature is annoying, as it comes across as an independent post.
Going to be a crazy new amount of cases in Israel today.3,609 cases today so far, with 2 more updates to go.373 in serious condition.549k with the third dose.Positive rate shooting up to 4.75%.14 deaths yesterday.
5,140 cases so far today. 1 more update to go.This is highest of this wave by more than 1k.
It's a Monday thing. Will probably hit almost 6K today and settle back down to ~5250 tomorrow
Yes. Every Monday has been a huge surge, followed by a even bigger surge the following Monday...
From a severe cases perspective, it’s about 350 now, 700 in a week, 1400 in 2 weeks, and 2800 in 3 weeks. The previous peak was around 1100.
Have the severe cases been doubling every 7 days to this point?
Based on the UK's "schedule", shouldn't cases begin falling next week? (Though UK cases are up over the past couple of days.)
Israel. Decline among those who got the third shot is already starting to show up in the data. Let's wait and see.https://twitter.com/GazitDoron/status/1424836440010203159?s=19
Of course, we don't know if the 3rd dose is effectively immediately or it takes 7-14 days like the first doses. It could be the lower incidence rate is a correlation because those first to get 3rd dose are also the most likely to be careful and avoid exposure.

I think 6 days.
I think 6 days. Yes, the question is if Israel will look like the UK.
