Reddit seems to think it’s just another a BOGO offer which they’ve had more often than not for the past few years:

I got the same from T-force as well. Reddit usually knows what’s what, especially when it’s for real.

A free line doesn’t seem to be in the cards for T-mo at this point.

Our current BOGO offers is a bit limited in terms of qualifying plans, but that's not generally the case! In my experience the previous free line/line BOGO options were applicable with a wider array of options so I wouldn't expect the same limitations on future offers. I want to get you set up ASAP, but the best bet in this case may be to stay tuned for offers through the above deals hub link!

Hmmm, officially supposed to be eligible but I’ve seen reports of people with One and add ons (OnePlus, international) reportedly ineligible

Still underway. Will be 11 lines, 8 of which are free.

(One of the paid and one of the free are a BOGO bundle that I might ditch in a year to save $32 on my monthly bill)

And for the record I didn’t get every free line. Since 2016 there must’ve been at least 10 free line promos some of which were only for one day.

I would have to change my Sprint Everything data plan in order to take advantage of this Promo.

New T-Mobile Plans are comparable(?) and costs seem to be substantially cheaper.

Any reason to hold on to this old plan?

Apparently you have to be a customer for 12 months for this promo, and switching to Magenta Biller might reset the clock. Free line or not, might be worth switching if T-mo plan will save you money either way.
