@mevinyavin can you relay to Rabbi Stilerman please? Last thing we need is for another guy to have to put out another series called דור ליקוטי בתר ליקוטי because he missed some מר״מ, confusing enough as is :P
I'm happy to pass it on but you are confusing the Stilermans here. This was authored in Dor Hamilkatim's BROTHER's kollel - Rav Yossi Stilerman. Dor Hamilaktim = Rav Yisroel Stilerman. I know, it's confusing.  ;D

ETA: A talmid of RBs said its a psak of his (that he got a lot of flak for). So that would make sense - Rav Yossi (NOT Yisrael) was a Rosh Chaburah by RBs.

Ouch! Passed on as well...

Edit: This was probably because his brother Yossi wrote Zera Shmuel, and someone else must have just added it to the Stilerman already listed as an author.
At least they got his father right...

Also, in the shaar blaat it just gives his initials for his first name, so it makes sense they would think that.

Anyway itís listed as being printed in 1944 so not going to put more thought into thisÖ

Note: this is a machlokes. Below is Rabbi Berkovit's psak.

What is the halacha regarding snow removal on Shabbos - shoveling one's own walk, allowing the
snow removal company to come on Shabbos with machines, and/or a non-Jewish neighbor doing your
walk for you - either by request or on his own? If my neighbor does it on his own, can I encourage him
by thanking him and offering to pay him [for example]?
R' Y. Berkovits wrote: Rav Moshe says that snow is muktzah, Rav Elyashiv (and most poskim) say it
is not. Assuming that snow isnít muktzah, still to shovel it yourself would be included in the gezeira of
גומות להשוות. [We find a leniency if all houses are tiled nowadays, however we donít see any leniency
regarding the outdoors.] To ask a Goy, would be shvus díshvus and muter in case of necessity, for
example in a case where there is a fear people will slip. You can also ask a Goy to use salt (even not
b'makom tzorech). To ask him to use his machine is amira líakum of a díoraysai, and assur. If he on
his own decides to use a machine, this would be a shaila of maris ayin (that you asked him). I donít
think you should let him.

There is no mekor (AFAIK) to stand Fri. night when saying veshamru before שמו"ע. Rather one should stand when he says 'ופרוס' at the end of Haskiveinu, to be mekabel the neshama yeseira, as it says in שערי תשובה רסז' ג' , יסוד ושורש העבודה בשם האריז"ל, ובכף החיים
