Are there any examples besides caseinate? Are these types of ingredients ever listed ambiguously as “flavors” without an allergy disclaimer?

As I've mentioned in other places, there have been a number of exceptions, most notably on plant based baby formula. This is a far cry from having seen on many products or that it originated from them. Kof-K and OK have been using the designation for many  years and it is much more likely that you saw it there or on baby formula than on cannabis chocolate or organic peanut butter cups.

As a kid I saw it many times until they phased it out. Everybody else has seen it as well. OU-DE designation has existed. Facts.

Not sure how old you are, but 25 years ago the one single exception was baby formula and it was already like that for some time. This I know from personal involvement and discussion with higher ups at the OU.

There are thousands of people who say that OU-DE existed 25 years ago.

Older than 25, it seems strange you are claiming it never existed 25 years ago except for one case. There are a number of posts on the internet from over a decade ago asking why OU discontinued DE, including DDF. Mandela effect?

A lot of probiotics are grown on dairy, dairy would not be on the ingredient list. The star k considers it true dairy.

Aside from probiotics, if you are confident that there are no ingredients with dairy you can assume it is DE. Even if there is dairy in a natural flavor it would be Batul the flavors themselves are a milsa deavida letaama, but the milchig component of the flavors are generally not what is giving that taam.  See Shach Y.D. 98:32.

My apologies. I misunderstood an email. It seems the update was as mentioned below simply to enable a search for de products. They also refer to products listed as de as “non confidential products” that are de. I know how excited I was so I am sorry for getting anyone’s hopes up.

Does anyone know about Silk Almond Milk with an OU-D. People have always claimed it was actually DE but that doesn't show in the OU search. I have emailed the OU but have not yet heard back.
