I’m confused. Who won?
TBH I didn't read the ruling nor have I been following the case.
FWIU this ruling affirms what I have said from day 1. This isn't a Landlord Tennant case. CLI is a corporation, they could have and should have claimed from the outset that they don't occupy the premises (which is true, other than the offices which they are evicted from). The מתפללים use the shul. Are they to be evicted? If the claim is that the Gabboim aren't legitimate, that is in no way a L/T case. So affirming real estate ownership rights means nothing as far as the shul in practical terms.
So much money wasted over egos and refusal to talk to each other and settle things without legal battles or in Beis Din.
