Some helpful tips for eliciting answers from other members:
- Keep your question short and precise. No one wants to read a megillah.
- The more questions you ask in one post, the less likely any will be answered. People are willing to answer a question or two, but if you ask all the questions that apply to your particular issue, you're expecting to be spoonfed. Members don't like holding out the spoon, so ask accordingly.

3x on flight purchases, and transfers to BA 1:1 and they sometimes have bonuses for transfering to BA.

If so wouldn't it be better to get the BA card with the signup bonus and the SP with its signup bonus (which is transferable to BA)?

I need 50k MR or SPG points to book a hotel. I was thinking of doing a 2bm in Amex Plat and GPR, since I am pre approved already and I wanted to get the Platinum anyway to take advantage of the lounges, while doing PGGM and amazon prime....

I already have an SPG card and used up all starpoints. FYI -  I applied to a SP a few weeks ago (i have a good fico score aprox 750, so can't imagine it would prevent me from pulling off the 2bm, but I've never actually done one before)

Thoughts?

Yes, that would be better. BA will charge you high fuel charges on reward tickets to London.

I asked that question before. AFAIK you have to add it as a debit card and put your own name and billing address. But supposedly it could raise flags to add gift cards...  YMMV

Thanks.  I just chatted with an Amazon rep and she said that before charging your credit card for your Subscribe & Save orders, we always apply any Amazon.com Gift Card balances or eligible promotional codes already redeemed on your account. So, the gift card balance will be automatically applied.

We'll see if that happens next time the order is placed.

oh you meant an Amazon GC? Yea that's true, I thought you were talking about visa GCs for use in Amazon payments bc I just asked that question yesterday... never mind...

a soft pull is precisely a credit inquiry that does not adversely affect your credit score.

If the accounts are at the same household address you can transfer them online.

Right, I called them and this is what they told me,

The problem is this were not at the same address,
Is there any way around that or I can just submit the transfer and it'll pass or none of the above?

You can change one of your addresses and wait a month and then transfer. AFAIK that's your only option.
