Eh come on. My 17 year old brother can beat the crap out of me.
I couldn't care less about getting into this debate but any teenager who works out can beat up someone who doesn't regardless of age.

By the pictures probably TM. If you told me Zim was 28 and TM was 17 (I can’t tell by the pictures) I would go with Zim.

Not sure where you got that from. I would say 9 out of 10 for the 28 year old. I thought I said something about the smart money.

It's interesting, I wonder how it would have went if they had charged Zimmerman right away, and the whole thing proceeded to trial resulting in acquittal. The question occurred to me after I noticed this story, where an actual white guy straight-up blew a hole through a 13 year old black kid. Sure it's in the news, but it's not a story. Obviously they're different cases, especially in that one was acquitted while the other will almost definitely be convicted, but a white guy killed a black kid and no one says boo about it.

Seriously? Why is he making statements like that now?

In the press conference he talks about how people sitting in their cars lock the door when they see an AA walking by, woman clutch their purses tighter when an AA gets into the elevator with them etc. Great points, and I feel bad for all of the innocent AA's that it happens to, but with the violent crime rates by race as they are I think it's somewhat justified.

If I keep hearing of people wearing pink hats mugging, murdering, beating etc, I'm sure as heck gonna be more careful if I see a man in a pink hat.

Maybe I phrased that the wrong way. I'm not saying it should be a story, neither case should be. I'm just using that case and the lack of press surrounding it to cast doubt on the notion that the amount of press the Zimmerman-Martin case has gotten is legitimate.

He also called for a review of so-called "Stand Your Ground" laws, a central issue in the case.

Am I the only one in this country who is missing something?  What the heck does Stand Your Ground have to do with this case, where the defendant had his head being paved into the concrete (at least according to what the jury believed)?!?!  Wasn't this guy (Obama) a law professor?
