While that's not technically true, it is practically true. Both Kean and Thomson are his opponents, but since Kean is guaranteed to get the most votes Schnall and Thomson are realistically fighting for the other seat.

I thought for many it is because they are die hard republicans and can’t vote for Democrats.

If you listen to them - it sounds more like a religous cheshbon. As i said, sick irony.

Many of us grew up not understanding :

1. How there could have been a holocaust committed by an entire continent?

2. How could have there been a "Korach Va'dasoh".

In just the last few weeks, we have all had an unfortunate education that broadened our understanding.

For those who want up-to-date election results, here are the websites for Ocean and for Monmouth Counties.

Remember, Schnall will be winning in Ocean and losing in Monmouth - you need to add up the numbers to get the real result.

The results should start coming in after 8:00. They usually dump the early voting numbers in one shot, and then each district as the district reports. This could take a while, because they have to let anyone who is there at 8:00 to finish voting. In a heavy turnout year, it could take some time for the line to finish.

If the turnout in Lakewood is much better than Monmouth, expect Schnall to appear to be losing for the first while, but it will even out as the Lakewood districts close up.
