IMO better room temperature than reheated
Just popped them into the oven for a few minutes to get crisp again without drying them out. Threaded the needle just fine and was definitely better then room temp and soggy.

Probably wouldn't do that if they were 30 minutes old, but at 4 hours old I think it was the right move.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks for all the help DDF!
Nice! Looks like you managed to make all the stops! Glad everything worked out and you enjoyed. Did you notice the whole office building situation near Mike's that didn't exist the last time you were in Lakewood?

Stop 2: Bagel Nosh

Enjoyed these in the sukkah after we got back home.

Clear winner is the double dip chocolate cake donuts, which are excellent! But there's nothing like the old crumb ring donuts from LA's Cafe Elite, which were the king of kosher cake donuts.

Blueberry donuts and cronuts were sold out.

Bottom line, is there a better cake donut that you can currently buy?

Stop 4: Taquito

As mentioned, a little tricky to find. But nice big sukkah and good customer service for customizing some menu items.

Not hard to find. Enter thru the municipal lot from 2nd or 1st.

Stop 5: Mike's Chicken.

Pity no sukkah, we enjoyed these reheated back home.

Original crunchers, southern fried, and hot poppers are excellent. Didn't care for Bourbon or pretzel bites.

Triple onion buffalo baguette is fantastic.

Corn dogs really need a better hot dog inside, definitely skip these.

mistake people make in Mikes is ordering something other than chicken
They do one thing great (make great chicken) and perfected it
corn dog is for kids who dont like chicken
