I mean the vaccine initiatives, that’s what I thought we were talking about. FWIU vaccines have a much higher threshold of effectiveness compared to treatments.

The post made it sound like the symptoms are current/recent. If medical experts considered it Chashash rachok, we would already have immunity passports.

A lot in government don’t like that idea for number of reasons for ex they are afraid people will intentionally  try to get the virus etc not so much because it’s far fetched I think China already has some type of immunity system and Chile announced they will too

Why are we in big trouble if that’s the case? 50% effective, coupled with good medicine and testing should mean the world goes back to almost exactly where we were until now, with maybe a few more deaths each year.

Also, the flu vaccine is less effective because it mutates faster than corona, and many people don’t take it. I think at least in the short erm more people will be getting vaccinated for corona than were for flu.

Such as? I haven't yet heard how this can realistically be done. Don't forget there are many workers in every nursing home and they all go home every night to their families and community.

I do agree that nursing homes have been hit unacceptably hard but as someone living in the Frum community I can tell you that the deaths I personally am aware of did NOT occur in nursing homes. I understand why someone who doesn’t have personal connections to people who are dying needs to resort to just reading data, but you know people who died. Why are you regurgitating media drivel when you KNOW the facts on the ground show that that’s just not true? You know that by us all going back to normal, people you know will die. Does that still need to be hammered home?

Certain segments of the population want the facts to match their imaginary world. This didn't start with Covid-19.
