I am not aware of any spokesperson for a "sect" of Chabad.

Chabad has only ONE spokesperson - the Lubavitcher Rebbe. If you want to know what he says, look at the thousands of sichos, maamorim, and letters published.

totally different event and not at all comperable. It was the contractor who said he could not have the expansion done in time, which clearly upset the rebbe. So the bocherim came and took down a wall that was already planned to be taken down.

Unfortunately hes's dead (according to some). So it might be worth finding, yknow, someone who can actually speak up.

Or, if one believes the Rebbe is alive בגופו ממ"ש, one must question why he is saying silent. An unbelievable dereliction of.duty.

(This is the time to point out that the Rebbe זצ"ל did appoint specific people as official spokespersons,  and those who say there are none except the rebbe are explicitly ignoring their Rebbes own words.)
