My sisters has a paid flight on AA to LIH with a stopover in LAX. After continued delays, they ultimately canceled the flight and they missed the flight to LIH. AA got them on another flight with stopover in PHX, put them up in LA overnight and got them to LIH the next day. Any chance of AA offering a complimentary upgrade for the way back for the hassle?

Aircraft to and from HYA inflight entertainment not working, will the standard $15 per flight compensation be given automatically, or need to email?

Currently flying LAS-EWR on Southwest and a stewardess spilled an entire can of Sprite on me one hour into the flight. What's the best way to go about requesting compensation, and any ideas what I should ask for?

Flew lax to Spain with a stopover in atlanta, with my wife and 3 kids. Stopover was delayed 1.5 hours+only had kosher meal for 3 out of 5 of us. Any chance I get anything for either complaint?

So now etihad lost our bags with 5-10k+ of stuff, some of which are irreplaceable. After they confirmed to us in AUH that they were on the plane. Good thing our bags were on separate pnr/csp charges

AA screwed up my EY F reservation w/ chauffeur booking by reissuing the ticket without telling me, causing EY to remove the chauffeur booking and not allow me to have it reinstated.

I complained to AA and they gave me 20k points.

I then got EY to reinstate the booking :)

I started a thread on this but now realise this is the correct place for this.

Just on a BA flight - LHR to EZE and have been told there is no hot part to the KSML. Apparently none tonight for any LHR BA flights.

So 13 hours and no hot food. Not the end of the world but in theory, this is a $4k plus ticket (club world).

What compensation is reasonable to ask for?

Oh, they have the cold part of the meal and a fruit option.

Wow that is great, even for no chauffeur 20k would be nice. Standard through the email or you gave AA a call?

No. Called aa to get them to reinstate. They called back telling me they failed but gave me 50k points as compensation. I explained to them that I actually got nothing - the 50k points she saw was actually a reinstated flight. She apologized and said the most she could give me is 20k.

My mother was booked in business class EWR-DEN, she got held up by security for a long time, and only got to the gate about 10 minutes after scheduled departure time.

They were nice enough to let her on being that they were delayed a little, but they said that already gave away her business class seat and she would have to sit in Economy. Is this standard procedure? Can she ask for compensation?

Voluntary downgrade. No compensation is due, but she can ask...

Thank you. Just curious, why is this considered voluntary downgrade?

Got to gate too late. Even if they didn't close the door they can give away your seat.

Flew back from India. 24 hours split among 3 flights with etihad. No kosher food on any of them despite confirming sevreal times. Was providee many contradictory stories by customer service at the different airports (ranging from etihad no longer does kosher food to etihad made a mistake with ur booking to our flight log shows u ordered kosher food but we don't have any). Complained to etihad and they emailed back to offer 2500 miles each. That is a joke, right? What should I expect as fair comp?
