Unfortunately the Israeli law is still vague and UA has repeatedly denied my requests, claiming mechanical failure is "extraordinary circumstances".

Ok this is crazy now. I've flown Chi-nyc a million times and I've never had so much waiting- waiting to 45 mins to take off, waiting 30 mins to get a gate when landed, now waiting at least 30 mins for my carry on which got checked. Arrrhhhgg! (Sorry if this is wrong place to rant)

With jet blue if you have to wait for a gate, even for a few minutes, you automatically get compensated. Check their passenger bill of rights..

So that would explain all the times they randomly (or so I thought) sent me $25 credits.

I'm at JFK now for a BA rewards flight to CLE and they just cancelled my flight. This was for a 1 day trip so there's no other flights. Should I fight for compensation here or over the phone?

My uncle was notified that his flight from TLV to JFK was cancelled and he was put on a flight the next morning. Is he entitled to the same compensation as if his flight was delayed by that amount of time or nothing to do because he was notified of the cancellation prior to arriving at the airport?

The way I read the Israeli law, it has nothing to do with notification, and everything to do with when the airline gets him to his destination.

1. Is it a waste of time to file a delayed bag claim with ELAL?

2. Is it a waste of time submitting a claim if i dont have receipts of the items in the suitcase?

Domesticated pets are allowed in-cabin on United.

If you have a problem with that, fly an airline that doesn't allow it.

Now if it's making noise and won't be quiet, have a FA get involved.
