I started a thread on this but now realise this is the correct place for this.

Just on a BA flight - LHR to EZE and have been told there is no hot part to the KSML. Apparently none tonight for any LHR BA flights.

So 13 hours and no hot food. Not the end of the world but in theory, this is a $4k plus ticket (club world).

What compensation is reasonable to ask for?

Oh, they have the cold part of the meal and a fruit option.

I got the 'standard' 4,000 Avios

United takes off Israeli Mandatory comp law from their site. Oh well.

Well, I guess that explains why they still haven't answered my claim, in which I requested the Israeli comp law.

They were waiting to take it down..

When I called and asked for compensation (they gave transportation vouchers from and to airport, but while the taxis outside accept the voucher, local Brooklyn car service refused) they said that they can issue up to $100 without any special approval, anything beyond that will have to go through corporate customer care. $100 doesn't even cover the related expenses, let alone compensation for utter mistreatment.
Filed complaint online. Got $350 voucher. I responded that it is in no way sufficient, and at the very least they should give what's due by Israeli law, and the voucher could be extra in order to try to regain business.

Today the traveler got two checks in the mail with the following letter.

My question is, that on top of everything, bags didn't arrive until two days later. Is there any additional compensation that is due because of that, according to Israeli law or any international conventions?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

I guess they represent Delta in Israel. The passengers live there. I just wrote to Delta on their behalf.

Anyone have any idea if I can get anything out of tam airlines? I just got off a plane in JFK from yyz after sitting 3 and a half hours on the tarmac due to "maintenance" . This caused me to miss the wedding I was travelling in for.

I had an award ticket on BA from GVA-JFK. I had booked the flight in approximately June for a September flight. The morning of the flight, I receive an email to call Delta for an important message. I assumed that I would be offered to be bumped, but instead they tell me that my ticket wasn't issued because of an issue with the payment method. Long story short, after spending an hour plus on the phone with them, I was able to pay with a different credit card and had my tickets issued.

My complaint is that they waited until the day of the flight to contact me about this when they had the information for months. Firstly, it's pure luck that I received the message on time, because I don't always have data left on the last day of my international travels. Secondly, I spent over an hour stuck in my hotel room on the last day of my vacation, while I could have resolved this on my commute to or from work anytime prior to my vacation.

Do I have any hope of receiving compensation? Whom would I contact?
