I’m guessing if it hadn’t been promoted as being in collaboration with Ottimo and UFC they would have looked the other way. It’s one thing to privately rent out your premises. It’s another to actively take part. Lake Terrace had that Indian Hindu wedding on shabbos and it didn’t get this kind of pushback.

Once again I'll repeat - it wasn't promoted at all, which is why practically no one saw this image before today. I also fail to see the distinction with Lake Terrace as they actively involved in hosting any events in their space.

Regardless, KCL is no longer the monopoly they used to be, good riddance.

You are right, there is a huge difference. One is hosting a private kosher event for frum people, the other is hosting a massive, public treif event on Shabbos for gentiles.

IDK, but read the article. The caterer clearly has KCL for BF and not for LT. Could it be precisely because they host Indian weddings?

The hall gets rented out to non-Jews frequently. There is no problem with non-Jews having an treif event. AFAIK the kitchen is locked.
