Grey poupon Dijon mustard has an ou on it and contains white wine. Are they using Kulas or do they ensure they only use mevushal (is that itself a kula)?

THey rely on R Moshe's temperature for bishul IIRC and not that of the Tzelemer Rov.

Rabbanut Mehadrin Yerushalayim does not allow CSS Petach Tikva, according to a new kashrus alert where they removed a hechsher for using those products.

I suspected this when all the Aromas in Jerusalem switched from Rabbanut Mehadrin to CSS Petach Tikva (this was well before the recent scandal) The Aroma in the airport's Rabbanut Mehadrin was downgraded to Ragil as well.

They still allow Badatz Bet yosef though, which shows the Rabbanut considers them a better hechsher.

He is referring to relying on BBY products (eta- other than meat), which is not the same as relying on BBY for restaurant supervision. And how people rank hesherim does not dictate reality.

They do not allow BBY meat (Mehuderet does). They allow products only (any Cofix can confirm this).

PPl do not trust the restaurants due to lack of oversite compared to factories and allowing BBY meats.

On LY ex LAX. the SKML has the hot part OU, and the rest with a paper from the chief rabbi of El AL.
Mid flight egg salad sandwich is the same.

It appears that the mehadrin meals and non mehadrin meals are exactly the same, except that the mehadrin meals are wrapped in plastic with this note inside, the non mehadrin are not wrapped and have a different note. The hot portion was identical, just one had a sealed foil bag with an ou (sky chefs) and one didn't.
Strange and if problematic a big michshol.
