Should we bother making a Kosher JS or is not worth it?
TBH, the rules are so nebulous that I wouldn't really know what goes where.

For what it is worth, here are my thoughts.
-If you can't clear it with Netfree in advance, don't bother.
-Netfree users are the most motivated that this exist. Maybe one of them can mod it. I would think it would be too much of a pain for a regular mod to police it.
-Did I say police it? It would be a dictatorship! Set the rules on the thread noting that anyone who posts in there gives up their rights to keep the post up, and the thread can be moved at any time to regular JS. Again, if you feel this isn't your style, don't bother.
-As some have pointed out, GD has become the new JS, especially for Netfree people. As it is, you will likely have (and have had) Netfree users gently chiding anyone who posts something borderline anywhere else on the site. Maybe (or in addition) you can add to official site policy that you are (trying) to cater to Netfree users and language/pictures may need to be modded for their sake, and can they please not take it personally. Again, if you want to do that.

It's commendable to want to use netfree, it seems based on their rules most of DDF won't qualify. Perhaps that's part of the reason of why it's commendable to use netfree..

Is there any way to know how many users use Netfree?  Because obviously not worth it for a handful of users. (Or maybe we should judge the quality and not the quantity of Netfree users )

I admit being surprised way back when, when I discovered that it was accessible through Netfree. Best guess? Someone on the Netfree staff hangs out here.

Our understanding is that your site is mostly purely technical, however, some parts are just for spending time.
We have received several reports about content that did not meet the NetFree standard and was not compliant with our policies and therefore we have decided for now to block one such section.

I understand you want to see specifics, however, it is vital to understand that our role is not to be your mashgiach and look after your content. Our role is to protect our customers by opening only what complies with our policy.

You can reply that if something is not appropriate you want to know about it so you can have a better understanding of how/what to moderate in the future.

Why are email notifications and site follow up comments always with a lag. I get a notification that someone replied to my comment and for the next 5 min you can refresh the page but you won't see any response.
   It's not exactly synced. Unless that's done on purpose?

Maybe the comment has to be approved in order to show up on the site, but the email comes right away? Just a guess.

Nah, I would get notified of the comment wasn't approved.

 IMHO they emails should be delayed until the comment posts so its in sync. Or fix the delay.

It's aggressive browser caching. Open up in incognito and you should see it right away.

I think with all the new boards, I think there needs to be a change in the format of the home screen. Maybe something that groups together like boards. I am not a designer, but what about something like this?
