Is it too much to ask that stores should provide the same number of return shipping labels as the number of packages that the order shipped in?
True story of two returns that I had to make this week:
One was an Amazon order of 2 items which had shipped together in 1 box, but for some reason, when I filed the return online it gave me two separate return labels. Now I needed to find a second box to use for the return. Didn't have one, so I had to wait for another order to come so I could use that box.
The second return was for an order from another store. The order was shipped in two separate boxes, but when I filed the return online, it gave me one return label for the whole order. Now I needed to find one (very large) box to fit the whole order. Ended up having to combine two boxes with lots of tape to make one big box.
(And no, the extra box from the second order wasn't big enough to solve my problem for the first order)
