Doesn't look that reliable. If your issue is the money, go for netspark. They have a trial period.
You can also try purifeye. I've gotten some positive feedback from a fellow TAG volunteer that tried it on his own device.
Although Tag doesn't officially recommend it yet, since we don't know enough and don't have access to the backend yet.
It's a great filter.
But really annoying that every 2nd app doesn't work properly, you can't login in and gives an error thinking something is wrong with your connection. It's not allowing for the data to be submitted through the app.

Quote
The way we work is that the device is filtered through a proxy as opposed to a VPN that many companies use. Both approaches has various pros and cons. One major con that our system has unfortunately, is that when apps are being filtered often they do not operate as they should. As such, we advise using apps that require filtering such as YouTube, Instagram etc through the actual browser and not the app itself. If a client insists on using the app, we can allow it but we cannot guarantee any filtering.

Anyone using this filter besides for me?

Does it make sense that customer support for Techloq seems to only be via email and not phone?
We're finding it very annoying.

I've heard that recently from someone else as well. He said that they told him someone will call him back 2 days ago but he is still waiting. I wouldn't know because i don't use Techloq.

I've found them responsive.
They unblock pages quickly.  sometimes with in minutes.
They called me recently (a month or so ago) after I emailed them.
My favorite cause: cssy.org

They unblock even in less than a minute, at least in my experience.

Not sure why so many categories and sites are blocked by default.
They also don't allow Duckduckgo as a search engine (only Google), which people prefer for privacy.
I also wish they had a Firefox extension not just for Chrome. Again, Firefox is better for privacy.

They seem to have a thing for Google products.

From what i understood the unblocking is done by a computer in most cases.

The issue my friend was having was a more complex tech support issue and as of now he is already waiting 3 days after they told him that they'll call him and he also sent 2 emails.

Gut voch. Anyone here able to compare the android and iphone versions of gentech? I have the android version and am not that impressed to say the least.
1. It basically completely blocks Google assistant by not giving it internet access. Does the ios version do the same with siri.
2. Not sure if it's just me but it sure seems like it's draining my battery and seriously slowing down my phone. I have a galaxy S9. Not the newest per se but def not a bad phone I would think. Is the Apple version any better in this regard?
3. The smallest deal of all but it blocks apps for certain stuff making me use the website (for example youtube filtering only works thru website which is not as good of an experience as thru app)

Any info would be greatly appreciated. TIA
Still looking for a good MS method :)

Purifeye is the same in the regards of YouTube app being blocked which is really a great interface and offers an easy and simple way to communicate if you want to message or comment in a video and many other little things.

Data Point.

With Techloq, when trying to watch a video on Youtube we are re-directed to 613tube.

Figured. Practically how does it work? It's the whole youtube filtered or selections?

Not sure as we're new to this.
When setting up Techloq we asked for all of Youtube to be open and later we'll close certain categories.
Didn't know they re-direct to 613tube.
