I’m trying to remember what was happening before covid. Could someone remind me what was the state of the union in regards to the whole racism and woke ness (not saying they’re related at all)
I recall we had covid and everyone was cooped up and then George Floyd happened. Since then the African American community exploded. What was the situation before all this?

Obama used racist language and undertones, albeit subtly. ie If you don't vote for him, you're racists; Michelle: I've never been proud of my country before (misquote);Obama bringing to White House the professor who claimed racism in being stopped 'for being black'. etc
Trump was elected partly as a backlash by the vast swaths of America that's not racist and doesn't like being called racist.
Then we got the Steel Dossier, and the one sided press.
Now we're on Biden who actually said Mitt Romney was "going to put you all back in chains." and “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”

Posting died down in 2019 already after CC game largely went way of world. Then covid came along, and combination of lockdown boredom and covid discussion brought it back to life. Now that covid has largely gone the way of the CC game (only still taken seriously by a select few that know better than the rest of us), it's back down, I think.
