A relative of mine just flew UA19 from EWR to MXP on Monday 8/16The flight was supposed to depart at 7:10 from EWR but was delayed due to mechanical issues. They boarded around 10 pm but did not actually leave till after 12. (the status shows 11:20 but that was probably when it left the gate) and upon arrival, they did not get a gate right away and actually were taken off on the tarmac and bussed to the terminal. What would be the typical compensation I can try to get for him?
