emailed delta recently regarding service about going back to pre covid ways. i keep hearing oh were working on it. well according the response i got it looks like they are not looking to go back to there pre covid ways, they seem to be looking to go the other way. below is a portion of there response:
"I am sorry to hear that you continue to be disappointed with the lack of meals and special meal services on our flights. It is our goal to offer you the best service possible each and every time you travel with us. We currently do not have an expected date of when this might change.
As of January 25, 2022 we announced that the Delta One amenity kits would be replaced by the brands, Someone Somewhere and Grown Alchemist. To be completely transparent Delta is continuing to pair down onboard food and beverage to essential offerings and adjusting in-flight service processes on all U.S. domestic and short-haul international flights. We should still be offering the Dasani water bottles and pillows and blankets upon request. All glassware, including coffee mugs and champagne flutes, has been removed from every Delta flight. Hot towel service is also suspended temporarily from every Delta Flight."
