I have a friend that got divorced as his wife decided to become not religious. His wife received a get they have 2 children. She was dating a Kohen, and because she heard all of the going on with this case she decided to  go to Rabbi Riskin to get her marriage annulled as a Mekach Tos so that she can marry a Kohen.

1) A major complaint about the heter being used, is that it will be abused. This story supposedly confirms those worries.

2) Why do goyim convert to get married to Jews?
Because they like the guy and are willing to do what it takes to get married.

This case has all but ruined the sanctity of an orthodox marriage al pi halacha.

This is no joke. - Soon every two bit pulpit rabbi will be annulling marriages left and right if this doesn't end properly.
