When was the last time you were there? The Kashrus woke up one morning and decided they can't use their Italian flour and it all took a nosedive, but maybe they worked it out?

Afaik not. Only thing I can think of is that maybe Mehudred relied on the Rama that a Jew lighting the flame is enough whereas Mehdarin is machmir like the Beis Yosef that a Jew has to participate in the actual cooking. Never heard of a non-Sfardi being machmir on that though

In Kikar Hamuzika the same Mashgiach walks around and certifies Mehudered for the meat/Mehadrin dairy

Total hearsay - but what I wad told is that Mehuderet allows any rabbanut mehadrin products and Mehadrin has a specific list of mehadrin hashgachas it accepts. Hopefully someone in the know can reject or verify

It’s right across the road from the chabad house. The falafel was really really good, and the owner very kind.
