Looking for a trip within a 4 hour plane or driving distance from NYC. Preferably tropical with cool sights and possibly rain forests. Also, dont want to go away for a shabbos, something from a Sunday- friday and anything in between

Any advice would be a great help!

Also have Amex points to use.

Thanks!

You ain't gona be driving to a rainforest from NYC. Look into Puerto Rico. Flight is 4 hours. Or if you want a little more exotic and tropical consider going to Costa Rica (although flights are a bit over 5 hours)
Will look into both thanks

Summer honeymoon from NYC area: Thinking about Vancouver or Banff. Which one should we do? Or any other ideas in the North America vicinity? (We've both been to L.A. etc.)

Been to both, Vancouver is the way to go, plus you have full kosher food there.

Was going to bring Pomegranate meals..Isn't Banff nicer? Also, what's the difference in pricing in hotels/activites there and mileage redemption from NYC to either one? TIA

Denver you can get award nights at hotels. In Banff its much harder. Phoenix is very hot unless your up for that. A Much better trip winter time. Banff is nicer & more majestic. Vail, Beaver Creek have fun attractions not too far from there
So we ended up in Denver. Used points for airfare and hotels. Most expensive part was the car rental! July 4th weekend was really expensive.
Did Rocky Mountain National Park instead of Vail, Beaver Creek, etc. Went for the majestic over the fun activities this time... Hope to go back. It was gorgeous!!!

Open to anything from theme parks, boat rides, aquariums, deep sea fishing, fun museums, tubing...
While the kids enjoy some site seeing, they get pretty bored of it quickly so we would need a nice blend.

For example, we did Gore Mountain last year and did tubing down a lazy river and the kids loved it.

No hiking though

Thank you
