My sister applied last Monday vCard came today. Sent an SM how she applied for the card because she heard about all the good Amex does for small businesses. Was hoping it would come in time but it didn't. An that she is disappointed she could not use it for small business Saturday, but is looking forward to a great relationship with Amex (this is her first card). She asked for a one time exemption to extend the offer for her.

Got back a reply within 2 hours that they are giving her a $25 statement credit

got 16 out of 19 credits, one credit I didn't get (Sweet Expressions) I never got a confirmation for either, but the other two credits I did not get, I did get confirmation emails for them, but interestingly, I made more transactions at the same place and did receive the credits!

Probably has to do with getting in touch with citi to get the credit IMHO

Why would contacting citi have any effect with getting a confirmation email from AmEx?

1) I was talking about the email conf and no credit

2) A thought, even if their is no conf could be takes time since citi has to contact amex that you spent

SM again. i have high doubts that any of them will get posted unless he has a good story to sell them as a merchant.
