Where is the source for women not to sew on Motzei Shabbos?
I don't think that's a Lubavitch only thing
Who's the most ignored user on the forums?

IINM in EY it wasn't common to wait for zman RT also by most other circles.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Is anything done or said differently for an emcee at a Chuppa at 770 vs an oot chuppah?

I'd imagine not much of a script. Just calling people up and keeping it short?

Jokes probably a no no? 😅

Depends on the crowd
2 lubab families. I'm doing it Tuesday imyh. And don't know the crowd at all tbh.

I've done it before for oot weddings. There I explained what was happening and gave context etc. But I assume I should just stick with minimal wording. Just calling people up is basically all that's done?

But I really don't know, haven't been to a wedding in crown heights in the past 9 years.

Keep it short. Everyone know what's on the program so just call them up
Make sure you have peoples titles correct
More important: have the families notify the people getting kibudim to make sure that are by the chuppa and/or have backup plans

I presume it is the same by Chabad that the one important thing for the emcee is to say the eidim are these two people

Though IINM there is a disagreement whether to add "to the exclusion of all others" or not. Also IINM there is disagreement about whether וקנינא is written in advance or only at the event into the תנאים (does everyone do the תנאים at the Kabolas Ponim?).

One gem that always comes to mind was when a certain cousin was emceeing at a wedding and called up someone adding "who is very well known... to all that know him".

Correct. Not sure why I wrote תנאים.

How about "to the exclusion of all others" is that common?

I am aware that some do and some don't.  Was wondering what is common in other circles.

Lubavitch  was the only place I've seen the Mesader have the parties come earlier in the day to sign the paperwork.  Doesn't work well when  you're not in Crown Heights.  Or in Montreal when  you're not expecting it.
