Sorry, I haven't been around much lately. @ExGingi posted an invitation? To what?

Jewish birthdays are so strongly emphasized in our world, to the point that it's not crazy that a Chabad kid won't know their secular DOB until they need to apply for a credit card passport or drivers license. That someone like you wouldn't know their Jewish birthday came as a big shock to me.

Always so embarrassing at the doctors office or at the pharmacy when they ask my kids' DOB!

I share a goyish DOB with my daughter, so I get comments like, "She must have been the best birthday present!" Sometimes it takes me a few seconds to remember, which makes me seem like some sort of sociopath.

Eh. I've had people tell me happy birthday and it took me a second or two to realize.

With the number of kids I have, it's never embarrassing to have to look up the dates of birth.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Now I'm ready for the happy birthdays from emails I get from companies

+1 lol

A couple of times they told me right away to call my wife and ask her since the father usually don't know them.

I so often give a DOB that's off from the actual, so none of those are indicative.

DW remembers DOBs better, but I can spit out hers and her SSN faster than she could.  :)

I have a knack for remembering birthdays (I'm the one in my family that remembers all of the birthdays on WhatsApp :) ), while my wife doesn't remember any of our kids' birthdays. It's funny when we go to the doctor's office and the secretary turns around to my wife to ask her and she turns around to me :)

It looked like what litvaks would call a Seudas Reb Akiva Eiger. In chabad vernacular it had something to do with siblings in kvutzah

after 500 times I now come prepared.

A link someone just sent me discussing same book. Haven't yet had a chance to watch the entire thing.

Watched some random minutes.. seems like they are saying the Rebbe could walk on water and is an embodiment of some god or something.

Is this their bbeliefs, or something else?

The yellow flag contingent does make good Felafel in Tokyo and have lots of eateries in Mexico, but other than that, not much.
Chabad in Tzfas and its environs is...interesting.

You haven't been to Cuzco, Bolivia, India,  and many other places.
Chabad Venice also flies the Yellow flag

Plus you must be forgetting who supplied you with Kosher CY Cheese in the Maldives lol

Didn't say that at all. But that's all I've seen worthwhile from yellow flag unofficial chabad houses across the globe :P
Pretty low of you

This is the minimum way a person should relate to anything chabad related:
I recently moved to Kiryat Shmuel in Haifa. I believe that whatever started in Tzfat has completely taken over this area of Haifa. Dozens of dozens of Lubavitch walk around with Yechi Yarmulkas and all the literature here says shlita on it. Kind of freaks me out but Chabad has done so much for world Jewry tough for me to take a stance.

I don't see the good in the yellow flag movement. Sue me, call me an anti, whatever floats your boat.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

A recurring theme that the Rebbe is the embodiment of G-d in flesh and blood. 9:40, 29:00 and several other places.

I am not at all educated in Toras Chasidus.  To the unintiated litvak, this sounds freighteningly Christain.
