My mcafee free trial virus protection that came with my new computer just expired. Is there any need to purchase a new virus protection or can I just use one of the windows programs (or something else that is free)?
Also, how do I turn off Mcafee, it still shows up as the virus protection?

Always uninstall McAfee right away. Windows Defender should be fine.

McAfee still has virus protection even after the subscription ends, it just doesn't update virus definitions. Would you say it's still better to uninstall and use windows defender instead?

treesizefree is a good program for that. You'll just find all your files wherever they are and then do copy paste to an ext. hd.

Shows 64gb. but isn't the command more accurate?
I didn't run their software on my PC, as I don't really trust it. I just entered the PC model. They might be taking it from the spec sheet.

Not my area of expertise, but it may be the mobo supports 128 in a technical sense but tweaking is required before it will happen - I dunno, voltages, bios settings, and whatnot. Unless you are a tinkerer I would go with the manufacturer's statement and not with technical results.
But then again, no one will ever need more than 64kbGB of RAM, so don't worry about it.  :P

I have a google doc someone shared with me that I open pretty often, so I added a link to my browser's bookmarks bar. Every time I open it, google prompts me to log in to someone else's google account - the person who created the doc. I have to click Next, then click the account name, then click on my own google account, and sometimes put in my password in order to open the doc. Then it loads fine.

I've updated my bookmark many times to be the exact link I see when looking at the doc, but it hasn't helped. Does anyone happen to know how to fix this?

TIA

Go to Gmail with that login and notice the number in the URL "/u/1/", then add to your bookmark that extra bit like so "https://docs.google.com/document/u/1/d/..."
