I'm not sure what you're saying here, once you hit a certain threshold you can convert your township to a city which gives the locals more power which usually benefits the local residents, on the other hand a city can impose local taxes so it's not so exciting,
by becoming a city it gives you more flexibility and more responsibilities as well

Lol. Lakewood can decide to become a city with 1 person, with 10,000 people or with 1 Million people .

There is no 'level' of 100,000 that changes anything. See here how Lakewood is the only large place still a Township, and many places smaller than 100,000 are cities.

someone's CO detector went off 6am, LFD showed up, the resident came out and spotted those that were on camera stealing a week before, they asked LFD to call police, they were not interested

same neighborhood had robberies again on YT

sheriff put a camera tower on e 7th probably useless as the have footage of the incidents themselves and they don't lead to action this is going on for over 2 years, Shabbos and YT breakings
