That you can get for free
I happened to have just seen a book about finding public info online for all states. Very cool book. Apparently you can lookup owner info. Here's the link to NJ. I didn't go through all states

The manual to online public records

It's available in the Lakewood library (that's where I saw it)

Looks like you have to apply as an insurance company, highway authority or other authorized business.

True. I thought I saw a towing company as a valid option, which shouldn't be too hard

You need to put down a $500 deposit which you spend down in each inquiry/search. I didn’t see where it says how much each search/result costs.

This is clearly a tricky question to answer as there are still many variables including: What support are they getting from parents, beyond monthly support. (E.g. Are there generous grandparents in the picture, are they going on family-funded vacations, clothing for yom tov, is there assistance for larger expenses as they come up). Also, the area where they live will largely impact lifestyle costs. Then there is healthcare (are they on parent's or on jersey care?) etc. etc.

I can only speak to lakewood, I would think less than 1500. It also depends on how recently married. If they are newleyweds and have a fully stocked house and wardrobe I would guess the average is lower. After a year or two expenses will rise for a non-frugal couple, but of course there are many who keep their standard of living.

Expenses should rise for every couple, new couples will usually have lots of clothing and other items purchased by their parents before they're married.

Somewhat, I was stating that even a frugal couple should see their expenses rise.

why so high?
its basically food for 2 people for a month for weekday.
and 2 shabbosim.
I have 3 kids and dont spend that much a month just on food.
