I have a bad credit score and my wife has a great credit score, my wife is leasing a car would it help my credit if I would co sign the car and will it affect her being approved for the car lease?

Yes you can have some removed but you would have to lie.

if your score is bad than I doubt this would help so much. But it can take an average score and make it above average. Like I've seen scores go from 700-740 by co-signing a lease

Also it will not affect her chances of getting approved if she adds you on so you might as well go for it

Because they search DDF forums and know who I am based on my user ID?! Paranoid much. Lol.

And as others speculated earlier, I have no plans/intentions to lie to authorities, was just curious.

Keep living in your fantasy world. Yep, an anonymous user name can in no way be easily tied back to you by anyone with a modicum of computer skills. And the feds have no computer skills!

Interesting phenomenon: the more clueless a person is about a subject, the more confident they tend to be when stating something about it.

OK, guess I'm the only one that uses a proxy here. Lol.

Of course anything can be found out with enough time and effort, but that's under the assumption that serious time and effort is spent investigating people's claims to the CB. I think feds got bigger fish to fry.

Anyway, this discussion it moot. Agree to disagree.

It depends why your credit is bad but in general an installment loan such as a lease in good standing will most likely help your score.
