I think I asked a very simple non threatening question. You’re not being very helpful.

Someone up thread mentioned something similar about רב חיים נאה, I’m trying to figure out if he falls into the same category.
you can add reb Zevin to the list.

Simple? Obviously! Just look at my responses to any IANAL post.

Though you didn't indicate on which scale, or which measuring instrument should be relied upon.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

LOL, I'm not in the least bit threatened. Lubavitchers like to claim everyone as Lubavitch like others try claim every pro sports player as Jewish.

I'm not being helpful because there's no scorecard or checklist. "Being a Lubavitcher" the way you're asking is a purely social thing. You want to know if he was a "party member"? That's something you need to ask the man himself.

My grandfather didn't wear a kapota because he didn't feel he had "made it" to being a Lubavitcher chossid. Yet he wrote in his will that all he wants on his matzeiva is that he was mekusher b'lev v'nefesh to the Rebbe.

Was he a Lubavitcher?

I’d say he sounds like one
I get your point.

I didn't say "respectful ideological differences". I said respected people offering (sharply worded) views on ideological differences. I see nothing wrong with that. My only point is that there is no sina for the sake of sina. We all know there was a huge machlokes years back but nobody is focused on that today.
Listen buddy, you and others are repeating again again that there is no sinas lubavitch anymore, while many Lubavitchers here are replying that they themselves have in the past and are in the present experiencing the anti semitism against them. perhaps you think everyone is as nice as you are, but facts are different. Just sayin'

This is especially so when ideological differences are represented as hate.

And usually that outlook depends on how you look and where you are, which determine your experiences.

At PTC, Rafi had a rebbe that told my wife and I that he would put a picture of the Rebbe up with the other gedolim on the wall, but he didn't want to offend anyone. ::)

Just about all of the meat restaurants, butchers, and takeout places in CLE are owned or managed by Lubavitchers. It has been requested many times and it's an issue that will boil over.

What is PTC, your son's Cheder? How come Lubavitch's presence in CLE is large enough that just about all the eateries are owned by Lubavitchers but they don't have a cheder of their own?

Parent teacher conferences.

Same reason I had to start my own Chabad shul here, where all of these restaurant/butcher/grocery store owners and managers now daven. Very corrupt leadership.

Where does it mention (perhaps a yoman?) that the Rebbe used to start maariv early on fast days?

Here in Gra-town, we all start Maariv early on fast days. But not as early as Motzei Shabbos Chanukah.  ;D

The actual record? Or the songs?

Vevel Pasternak has a very interesting (and amusing) piece in his book about how the Lubavitcher Chassidim came to the studio to rehearse and record the albums.

The actual record.

ETA: I have a couple more.  Free or they'll go in the garbage.
