Are we all gilgulim, or are some of us first timers?

I can try look up some sources, but I recall that most are gilgulim, being a first timer is a chidush.

Here is one source, from Chabad. I remember seeing it before, it's a universal established position.

To rectify the soul.
So people get unlimited retries? Wasn't the whole purpose of the world so people can earn their olam haba? Of course you'll get the results after enough times. How's that earning?
Why create gehenom for? Wasn't that the whole purpose of it to rectify for aveiros?

So you can say that there are stuff that can only be rectified in this world. What's a good example of that? Returning money? Just don't give the reward for that thing.

Does the second party involved get a choice in being sent down?
Do gilgulim get schar for mitzvos they do? Why is it fair that the person gets more time?
My Tapatalk notifications don't always work.

These questions are beyond my pay grade, but a few points:

-Gilgul can be a punishment in itself, and not necessarily a *good* thing.
-Gehinom is another way of rectification. Some say Gehinom is preferable.
-There can be other reasons for gilgul as well. Rav Chaim Vital outlines a bunch. The Ramak says that ultimately we don't really know exactly why this happens.

I don't accept this premise. It can also make things worse.

Either way, while
These questions are beyond my pay grade,
too, I can't imagine it is just done with no cheshbon. There would need to be some level of rules involved.

The Arizal says that we are almost all gilgulim, for the purposes of עד שתכלה נשמות שבגוף there are still some first timers left.

Thanks, do you know where he says that?

This came up because I was learning that Gemora of אין בן דוד בא עד שיכלו כל הנשמות שבגוף.

The Kamarna mentions it many times. I'm sorry that I don't recall exactly where....

Here is one source, from Chabad. I remember seeing it before, it's a universal established position.
On the bottom of the תורת מנחם, as the source for this:
Quote
רוב הנשמות שבדורות אלו אינם "נשמות חדשות". הם היו כבר בעולם הזה.
they quote Rav Chaim Vital in שער הגלגולים. However looking it up it seems to be talking about something else entirely, mainly a differentiation between neshamos that were כלול in the nefesh of אדם הראשון before the חטא, those are referred to as ישנות, and neshomos that were not who are called חדשות. Doesn’t seem to mean that the ישנות already came down to this world. (Unless for the Rebbes purposes that’s enough because the neshama was already here somewhat as a chelek of אדה״ר. But doesn’t help me for my question.)

Any Halachik reason to care if a guest gets to my house after we’ve made early shabbos?

I purchased a gas griddle (Similar to this) that was "preseasoned" I ran it through a self clean cycle to kasher it. now its all rough and has some rust marks, I cant see myself cooking on it. Is there any way to somewhat bring back the "preseasoned" finish?

Anything beyond סעיף יז?

My question would be if it’s worse because they’re being part of your “household” for shabbos so maybe it’s not proper for them to drive up and be doing melachah like it’s totally חול when you’re completely shabbos.

It’s probably a hergesh more than Halacha. Can’t imagine that there there is a real differentiation between this and what you’ve cited.

Rav Moshe says it's not proper for a wife to do melachah for her husband after he's mekabel shabbos. Anything else would be fine.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

How do i do that?
First get rid of the rust with steel wool and dry well
Take shortening or oil with a high smoke point on a paper towel and rub well all over the pan, inside and out including handle. It shouldn't look wet when done, should be a very thin layer
Put upside down in oven on highest temp for half an hour. Put a pan underneath to catch any drips.
Let it cool enough to handle, then repeat. Do this a few times to build up seasoning before using.
When washing, make sure to dry it fully and immediately so it doesn't rust again.
Don't ask stupid questions and you won't get stupid answers

It's at the bottom of the page
https://www.hebrewbooks.org/pdfpager.aspx?req=65757&st=&pgnum=519

As for hergesh these are extremely flexible and inconsistent.

Is davening מנחה שמונה עשרה with a minyan davening מעריב שמונה עשרה considered davening with Minyan? Or maybe considered just as davening עם הציבור?
