Why doesn't chabad have any representation in Israeli politics, like their own party or at least a chabad member on agudah or another party?
Why dont they ever start their own party?

The Rebbe’s official position (there was possibly an exception or two) was for Chabad not to have an official party or formal political affiliation. The were people whom the Rebbe appointed to be Chabad’s representative/spokesmen on a specific issue related to Israel/politics (R’ Yossel Gutnick from Austraila comes to mind, he was the Rebbe’s emissary on issues of שלימות הארץ, basically opposing giving up any land in exchange for “promises” of peace)

Because Chabad is NON PARTISAN!

It cares about ALL JEWS equally!

Why would Chabad want to have a representative or a party?

For the same reason most everyone else does...to represent their interests. For the same reason millions vote...to push a certain party/agenda.

Israeli lubavitch yidden I bet typically vote. I wonder if most chabad yidden vote for the same party or if everyone votes for whatever party they like, and what percentages of chabad vote for which party.

That would be interesting and enlightening.

If Chabad were to have a party, that would by definition exclude all other parties. This is diametrically opposed to Chabad philosophy and beliefs.

Historically the Rebbe's instruction was to vote for "המפלגה החרדית ביותר" leaving the interpretation to each individual (or in consultation with local Rabbonim). When Degel was established, and Agudah stood up against the exclusion or boycott of Lubavitch, the Rebbe gave a ONE TIME EXTRAORDINARY instruction to help Agudah. The results were unprecedented.

I heard a story of a very Chashuva Chabad Rabbi.
Somehow, I know that like by every Chabad story folks try to correct or add spices to it, I politely decline however.
Here goes:

Arik Sharon visited the Rebbe and asked him:"If it's a good thing to go live in Israel, why doesn't the Rebbe  - as a leader - move to Israel and so automatically the chasidim will follow suit?"
The Rebbe responded:"Sometimes the leader must go last. A captain is the last one to abandon the ship when all are saved."

FWIU, and there are others here who can correct me, the Rebbe gave Rabbi Nissan Mindel the answer, who then transcribed the letter, which was then edited by the Rebbe.
Same process for Yiddish and lashon kodesh. Usually the secretaries wrote the letter as dictated

IINM, if the Rebbe signed the letter, the letter was edited by the Rebbe before it was sent (sometimes retyped entirely, and sometimes the same letter with the Rebbe's handwritten edits). If it was signed by "mazkirus", it was the secretariat writing the answer they had received verbally from the Rebbe.

If its printed in igros - it was checked (and edited) by the Rebbe. Signature is not dependent on that

IINM @Yehuda57 posted upthread a link to an article that brings that as one of the reasons.

And what is Yat different than Yud Tes?

Do you turn any other dates into a "word", or do you enunciate the actual date?

In Lubavitch, we celebrate Yud Tes Kislev.

IINM even 15 Shevat which is very commonly referred to as Tu BiShvat was mostly referred to as חמישה עשר בשבט by the Rebbe.

So open a party that represents ALL JEWS
the same way chabad spreads its ideology through shluchim, tv shows/interviews(i believe even the rebbe gave interview to cnn) they should spread ideology through a party which is a very powerful tool
I would venture to say that when the rebbe was alive there weere simply not enough people to create their own party and even if there is today since the rebbe did not create it many would feel uncomfortable making such a big change
but that's just my two cents

Probaly the real reason chabad does not join agudah officialy or make a party is bec the REBBE RASHAB did not join agudah back in europe

Do you realize what the word PARTY means?

Once you are are party you are automatically not a different party. You are taking a side. You are competing. A party BY DEFINITION cannot represent ALL JEWS (especially in Jewish politics).

My understanding is that it will be released this week. I will bl"n post a link (though I am sure you would find it easily by following the trailer (or subscribing for updates from the creators of the trailer).
