Enough shleimim for YT?
Arrived this afternoon. One of 3 master boxes damaged, along with 2 inside boxes.
TBD. I got 3lbs of TR locally on Friday. So I am hoping to have those there.
Was Broadway in past years. This year it's Monroe.
We had from 3 Satmar bakeries, all burned and broken, and so was everyone in shul complaining
The KJ matzah was awful. But the P"T was excellent, BH.
You'll never like Matzo until Ungers starts baking it... (And it will be about 6.99 a pound)
I don't mind thick or thin matzos and for the most part I haven't ever tasted that much of a difference between matzos. This year we had some matzos from satmar and it was actually very different than what I ever had. The texture was totally different. The best I can describe it is that it's crumbly.
Broadway too?
Is that why we had such a difficult time finding whole matzos?
We got it for my BIL that likes these matzos and he didn't mention anything different so I'm assuming it's always like that.
They're usually better if you let them air out for a few hours.
I had mostly PT which were great as usual but sightly thicker than in the past. I had one box of Satmar on locust Ave. I רש"י tastes very different and had much more of a cracker type texture and were more crumbly. I think it was that the flour was ground more coarsely.
