Everything is possible... If you're a first time applicant and/or haven't had an MR-earning card in 12 months, I'd call and ask.

charged the $100 fee but not reimbursed after one week and and statement closed. I sm-ed and they said it is eligible but will post in 6-8 weeks. Was hoping to get it right away since renewal is coming up(kept the card all year) and dont want to renew. if i call them how to get around this response? can't really say i need it sooner since i want to cancel

Can I submit a application before I have a valid passport. Its for my 4 month old baby.

Are you allowed to get Global Entry for a 4 month old?

Theres no age issue. I got it for my 1 yr old. They do require an admissibility document but maybe they would accept a birth cert for that since you can drive through with just a birth cert for a 4 month old

There is no charge for children but they need to apply separately and go through the process. (at least for nexus)

there is a charge for global entry, but as the machines cant read their prints, you need to see someone everytime

You cant go to a machine but they said to tell an agent that you have GE and they will bring you to the front of the line. (or just go straight to the special lane for pilots/f/a's) I did it and it worked. I dont mind using a person instead of a machine as long as I get to cut the line

How long does it take till they review my application? i applied 10 days ago and still didnt recieve a email, how long more should i expect?

You won't receive an email. You're supposed to check your account every few days.

in my experience, there was a charge for global entry for children
nexus, however, is free

heres the deal, if you just sign your kid up for GE, there will be a $100 fee

if however, he gets nexus, which is free, he gets GE automatically for free

so if youre close to a nexus center (such as canada/us border), that would be the cheaper way to go
